NuThinking, Inc. Privacy Policy
Effective Date: October 16, 2026
Who We Are
NuThinking, Inc. (“NuThinking,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a qualitative research and strategy consultancy based in San Antonio, Texas. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website, nuthinking.net (the “Site”), how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Privacy at a Glance
- We collect only what you choose to share through our project inquiry form, plus limited technical information that websites collect automatically.
- We use your information to respond to your inquiry and prepare a proposal.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time.
Scope of This Policy
This policy applies only to the Site, including our project inquiry form. It does not apply to information collected from participants in research studies we conduct on behalf of clients. Research participants receive separate notice and consent information specific to each study, consistent with the market research industry’s professional codes of conduct. We do not recruit research participants through this Site.
Information We Collect
Information you provide. When you submit our project inquiry form, we collect the information you enter, which may include your name, company or organization, business email address, phone number, and details about your project (such as objectives, audience, timing, and budget range).
If you email or call us directly, we collect the information you include in your message.
Please do not include sensitive personal information (such as health or financial account information) in the form. If your project involves confidential business information, we are glad to sign a nondisclosure agreement before you share details.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site and our website provider automatically collect limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring website, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about your project
- Prepare, send, and follow up on a proposal
- Set up and manage our working relationship if you engage us (for example, contracts and invoicing)
- Keep business records and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations
- Keep the Site secure, working properly, and protected from spam and misuse
We will not add you to a newsletter or marketing list unless you ask to be added. We will not use the information you submit through the Site to recruit you as a research participant; we keep business development and research activities separate.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only in these limited situations:
- Service providers. Companies that help us operate the Site and our business, such as our website and form provider (Formspree) and our email and file storage provider (Google). They process information on our behalf to provide their services to us.
- Project partners. If a proposal involves a partner such as a recruiting firm, research facility, or fellow consultant, we share only the project details needed to scope and price the work.
- Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when needed to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to this policy.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site uses cookies, which are small files stored on your device. We use cookies that our website platform needs to function properly. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow third-party advertising networks to collect information on the Site.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.
Do Not Track. Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no common industry standard for these signals, the Site does not currently respond to them.
How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep inquiry information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. If we do not move forward together, we delete or anonymize your inquiry information within a month. If you become a client, we keep your information for the length of our engagement and as required for legal, tax, and business records.
How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect. Form submissions are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection (site has SSL/HTTPS enabled), and access to inquiry information is limited to those who need it to respond to you. No website or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
